As a self deprecating individual I am going to say this shoot was hilariously pathetic. I mean the wind pretty much had my mane of hair covering my face the entire time. I was effin freezing and could not get my ducks in a line. It definitely was not a day to be posing for a camera. Regardless, we did it, we laughed, we caught the flu and we had fun!
Black and camel is my favorite winter color combination. Its so chic, classic, and timeless. There are endless Pinterest boards dedicated to these earthy color tones and I for one can’t get enough. During really stressful work hours, I sometimes find myself scrolling through these inspiration boards and magically it calms my nerves.
I love leather. That being said, I set my expectations for leather a little too high. My mind has been infused with an overload of images of long legged super models in leather skirts, pants and leggings. My brain automatically connects leather with the likes of these gorgeous supernatural beings, such as Miranda Kerr and Kendall Jenner. It’s time to accept that a short petite gal like myself will carry leather very differently, and will be spending alot of money at the tailor shortening these leather indulgences. Hashtag, figuring it out!
