Anyone who knows me, knows I am a sale hunter. Just out of principle, I hate buying things at full price. Yes, I am that embarrassing girl in the store yelling, “Where is the sale section?”
After watching Confessions of a Shopaholic there were two major changes I made in my life. 1. I added lots of color to my wardrobe; since Isla Fisher made all monochromatic lovers rethink their wardrobe color choices. 2. I began finding, attending, shopping, and fighting for designer attire at New York’s best and finest sample sales. To make a long story short, I am hooked and have never looked back.
On that note, Tia Cibani, the former creative director at Ports 1961, and now the creator of her own line, Tia Cibani, is having her first ever sample sale. Tia is a creative genius, a true artist, whose collection has so much attention to detail that the quality of each piece is perfectly clear in it’s artistry, pleats, fabrics, and designs. The designer’s sophisticated technique elevates the inherent elegant simplicity of even the most basic pieces, like this wrap dress above.
The Tia Cibani sample sale will have this masterpiece of a dress, not to mention numerous others that are guaranteed to look amazing on you, at 70%-80% off. Each of Tia’s pieces are so rich and filled with vibrant colors, impeccable tailoring, and fine silhouettes, that when worn you will start striking poses that did not seem possible beforehand. To quote my husband, “Why the F*** are you acting like Beyonce here?”
Let’s just say, you all know what I’m going to be rocking this Shavuot holiday! Come next week, I’m going to be the envy of the synagogue, in my Tia Cibani dress, even with the extra cheese cake weight!
Happy holidays, happy hunting, happy sampling – and good luck stealing….I mean snatching these pieces at sample costs.
